In this piece, I used the idea of Medusa, which she is beautiful, but she got ugly personality. The petals in the art piece are representing the beauty of a person. The stem is an anchor and the snakes are sepal of the flower. The anchor and the snakes are representing the harmfulness of a person as they are dangerous. The flower as a whole is representing a girl, although she is as gorgeous as a flower, she got bad personality. There are eyes on the side of flower is refer to Medusa, which people want to look at her pretty face. The snakes on both side is referring to the image of Medusa, which when audiences look at this drawing, they will think about the study of Medusa. Lastly, this piece is trying to let the audience know that inner beauty is more important than the outer beauty.
